I have rebooted Windows XP on my compaq 5630 and setup screen was dispaly but when i try to enter in BIOS in won't allow me to enter. I need to get in to bios for changing sequence of booting but i can't enter. Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.
On a Compaq 5630 computer you can usually run Setup by pressing a special function key or key combination during Power-On Self Test (POST), before the operating system loads. During POST, the BIOS usually displays a prompt such as: Press F2 to enter Setup.Enter the designated keystroke to get into the BIOS Setup. Common keystrokes that will access the BIOS Setup are F1, F2, F10, and Del.
Start the BIOS Setup program by pressing the F1 key after you see the compaq loag screen during startup but before the Windows desktop starts. or you need to press delete key after system power on .
