The Most Scariest Game ?

doom 3 is **** scary at night on a 19" monitor with 5.1 surr. snd and no lights.. :)
take my word for it

Nobody mentioned Blair Witch and Clive Barker's Undying :shock: Haven't played the full versions of either but they were one of the scariest demos Ive ever played.
As for Doom 3, I can only say that the sole reason I felt anything akin to fear while playing Doom 3 was beacuse of the HOOOOOGE hype that Doom 3 IS scary. I simply threw it away when I found myself 'trying to feel scared' when playing it :rofl_2:

never layed any scary game...

System shock series I would definitely put up as a scary game, but not quake 1, maybe quake 2 a little bit ...

Well, the only game that scared me was one of the Tomb Radier series, i dont quite remember which one it was, but some skelitons would attack u unexpectedly, and had tigers.. man that game had everything to be scared of ;) :P

Scarry..Doom3 scares the hell out of me ... :bleh:

Well i havent played Doom3 yet.

But i would definately say that SYSTEM SHOCK 2 really Scared me. Especially the Voice of the Villian AI.

i don't think that playing on 19" n 5.1 speakers make thrilling gamez scary .
cause i got da same cfg dude .
19" n 7.1 creative .
i didn't feel that game scary ,even without lights .
i think i depends on human heart ,the guy who has never seen even an horror film on like draculla on tv might be scared with these gamez .

1 of the 1st games i played was shadow warrior . in that game was an enemy which was a hand . that was real scary . dont know how many of u remember. Doom 3 is not scary . i like to play it with headpones , full volume at night . good fun :)

Doom III doesnt scare at all except ocassionally when monsters come suddenly

Well doom 3 gets lot less scay after u have played it for a while..

I got pretty scared when i played myfirst pc game Unreal [the original, unreal 1, the first of all the unreal games]. Me and my friend, him handling movement keys, and me handling the mouse, aiming and shooting!

Doom 3 isn't that scary. For people that find it scary, really haven't played any other games in the genre. hell there aren't many games in the genre.

Here is a list of games that people interested in horror genre might want to try out-

Silent Hill - 4 games out in the series. all available on the PC. scary as hell. Deals in supernatural/disturbing stuff like ghosts. Confusing storyline though. Latest game in the series is Sh4.
