Hello TA,
We have bought a new Samsung LCD TV and the remote with the TV has a sticker on its back that says that I can operate TV, VCR, DVD... etc. with this remote with the use of appropriate control codes. Then it asks to refer the manual for more information. But in manual there are no codes given... I have searched everywhere. So guys, please post the codes for Samsung TV and I will try to program them on my remote :rolleyes:
You have not mentioned the model no. of your Samsung LCD TV.
Buy the service manual from Samsung. They must have the required codes.
Maybe you can search on Samsung's website.
Following are the Remote Control Codes for different Samsung Models:
- With the TV in standby, press..
{DISPLAY} {P.STD} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
- With the TV in standby, press..
{P.STD} {HELP} {SLEEP} {POWER} buttons on the remote.
or
{P.STD} {MENU} {SLEEP} {POWER} buttons on the remote.
- With the TV in standby, press..
{SLEEP} {P.STD} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
To exit, simply Power Off the TV.
I checked the Samsung web site and couldn't find any codes or instructions for the remote, so my best bet is to contact Samsung directly...Quote:
