Character Map to use infinity sign
I am working on Microsoft Word 2003. I want to use some special characters such as infinity, integral, etc. But I am unable to put that on my Word file. I can't see anywhere in the Word to put it. Do you know where is the infinity and other such symbols stored so that I can use it on my Word document?
My friend suggested me to use Character Map but I am unable to find it anywhere.
Re: Character Map to use infinity sign
Character Map is a utility included with Microsoft Windows operating systems and is used to view the characters in any installed font, to check what keyboard input (Alt code) is used to enter those characters, and to copy characters to the clipboard in lieu of typing them. The tool is usually useful for entering special characters.

To open the Character Map utility:
1. Go to Start and then All Programs
2. Select Accessories - System Tools - Character Map.
3. A window pop ups displaying a series of characters in a grid.
Re: Character Map to use infinity sign
Download Character Map Pro. Its a free character map program that will provide you all the special characters which are not available in the Word or Excel file.
You can see individual characters on a separate window of any size and/or copy them to the clipboard. It even helps you to use bold and italic style for any font.
