Speed up Firefox by Confguring about:config
I mostly use FireFox web browser for surf the internet. I am having a broadband internet connection. Even after that my web pages are opening in a limited speed. I want to increase the speed of web pages loading. Is there is a way where i can increase the speed of my web browser in viewing websites. I know that by changing some entries in about:config i can make my browser to work faster. But i don't know the way how to do it.
Re: Speed up Firefox by Confguring about:config
Yes you can configure some changes in Firewall to increase the browsing speed. You can reduce the amount of RAM which firefox uses for the cache feature. Launch your web browser and in the address bar type about:config. - Now in the resulting window click on "I will be carefull ".
- In the filer coloumn type browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewer
- Right click on it and select Modify.
- Set the value to 0
Re: Speed up Firefox by Confguring about:config
To speed up the browsing activity in the FireFox browser you will need to do this. Type about:config in the address bar of FireFox. Type network.http.pipelining in the filter coloumn. Now you can see the three options. On each option right click and select modify and change the value as below :
network.http.pipelining - true
network.http.proxy.pipelining - true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests - 8.
Re: Speed up Firefox by Confguring about:config
The browser is performing slow. By just changing some value in the about:config file you can configure firefox to work better and faster. Now open the about:config window in the FireFox tab and type nglayout.initialpaint.delay om the filter box. Right click on the entry and select Modify. Set the value to 0. Now your pages will load faster.
