If you're having problems with getting the connector working, you might want to drop him a line and see if he'll send you a copy. It looks like it's got all the basic tests that I would perform manually to test out someone's home network, and it doesn't seem to return false positives.
DNS server doesn't manage any zones it just acts as a DNS caching server. Many newer consumer routers have this capability built-in. I prefer to use my router which is routing TCP/IP traffic and leave the other networking services to WHS. now i am using my router's DHCP service, but the Windows server equivalent is more powerful, so I switched.
URL you have indeed the name of your categories, then you collect value, and when it is loaded, you assign your css ... no? In fact, your urls are very clean, how did you get to do that?
