Driver for Hp officejet 6210 all-in-one printer
I recently bought a new HP OfficeJet 6210 All In One printer, the problem is i can't able to install that printer on windows xp system. When i try to install it shows "Cannot Install This hardware". I don't what is the problem. I tried both the drivers that came on the HP install CD and the ones from the HP website with no luck at all. Any help will be extremely appreciated.
Re: Driver for Hp officejet 6210 all-in-one printer
The error Cannot Install This Hardware occurs when a registry subkey does not have the default permissions set correctly. The default permissions may have been changed. The installer for your device requires additional permissions that are more lenient than the default permissions.
Re: Driver for Hp officejet 6210 all-in-one printer
HP developed a utility (tool) that you can download and install to resolve this error. The tool scans and repairs registry permissions for specific registry keys where the software installer usually writes HP data, and the ' Access is Denied ' error is usually related to these registry keys.

The drivers for HP Officejet 6210 All-in-One (Q5801A) printer can be found at HPs Website HERE. When the computer restarts, reinstall the HP software. You can restart the installation with the same method you used when you encountered the problem. First select which version of the OfficeJet 6210 you have and then the operating system.
