How to convert .sav SPSS file to Excel

hello friends,

I want to convert .SAV file (SPSS format) into something I can use in Excel i.e. something which is Excel friendly. I want to ask are there any application or any other conversion programs available ? please give your ideas.......

Download perl script which can be used to extract metadata from SPSS data files.

For this, you must have a perl interpreter installed on your sysetm.
On Unix systems, check for /usr/bin/perl.
On Windows, try ActiveState Perl.
