Acer 6930 wireless not working
I bought an Acer 6930 about 2 months ago and everything has worked fine until today. Suddenly my wireless connection would not work anymore. I am able to get on the internet when plugged into the Nic port. I have updated the driver for the Intel 5100 card and that still did not work. When I push the wireless button, I can see the Enabled/Disabled message toggling on the screen.
I am able to use the routers wireless connection on another laptop, just not my Acer.
The Acer is running Windows Vista SP1 64bit.
Any ideas on why the wireless connection would just stop working?

Check the IP settings in TCP/IP settings. Check your physical connections and try plugging your laptop directly to the cable modem and see if that works and then try plugging directly to the wired router and so on. Try unpulgging your router, or modem, wait 3 minutes and plug it back in; see if that corrects the problem.
