Setting up Gmail in Windows Mail

I am trying to configure Gmail in Windows Mail since yesterday but haven’t succeeded to do it successfully yet. Tried almost everything I know about this but nothing worked. This is the error message I get doing the same:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'New Email Address', Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'smtp.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Can anyone please help me with this? All helps appreciated.

You seems to be using Port 25 and Port 110 according to the error that is actually invalid. Gmail wont use these ports. You need to make it 465 as Incoming and 995 as outgoing server.
