Re: exec.exe in windows vista
Have you installed NetZero for your Internet Service Provider (ISP). exec.exe is an application you can consider as a security risk , It will allow you free internet access,This process must be running if you use NetZero for your ISP, otherwise it should be terminated and removed from your system.

No, i have installed AOL Instant Messenger and since then i am getting a request to launch Exec.exe. I went to Spybot.com and scan my pc but suring scanning nothing detected. So far i have figured out it only runs while using aim. i even try to delete it from temp folder but no success.
Re: exec.exe in windows vista
exec.exe is a process which is registered as W32/Spybot-Z Trojan. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer from remote locations, stealing passwords, Internet banking and personal data. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.
