What is the formula to calculate a bit rate per pixel of a x.264 video. I want to determine a bpp value for a x.264 video, not related to the value of frames per second or resolution. What type of codec x.264 is. Which type of codec supports a high definition quality movie. Can i convert a x.264 codec based video to an high definition movie. What are the tools available for the same.
There is not an exact way to calculate a bpp value of an mpeg 2 file. But rather you can use too to calculate or get a required bpp value for a video or audio. MPEG 2 is widely for used format for videos and audios. It is called as x.264 codec file. Here you can use a simple step to calculate a bpp value by pixel:Bitrate = Total no of pixels x frames per second x bits per pixel.
