MS Office Assistant does not work on Vista

I have my new laptop has Windows Vista and today i installed Office 2003. When to access, the message that not enough memory available. Not a fix, just a work-around:

Start> Control Panel> Uninstall Program> Highlight MS Office 2003. click on Change Program.

Click Custom Install> Expand Office Assistant and make all the assistants unavailable (by right click) EXCEPT the assistant you want. Next time you home office, your chosen assistant appears by default. (Gallery still reads "not enough memory ..." though

I have tried everything, but it just does not work.

Have all the Office Assistant is disabled, "unavailable" set the computer down, up, office removed from the computer, re-installed ,...!

Who can help me?

If the other assistants do not work, then no MS-Agent
