Nokia N70 is infected with Caribe virus

Hi,

yesterday while receiving song via bluetooth from my friends mobile i received this file caribe.sis. When i clicked the caribe.sis it chooses to install the Caribe.sis file now it sends the same file to other devices. i am unable to delete this file. please help me.

F-Secure Anti-Virus for Symbian series 60 will detect the Cabir and delete the worm components. After deleting worm files you can delete this directory: c:\system\symbiansecuredata\caribesecuritymanager\

you can delete Caribe manually also for that must have fileman, fe explorer or any ther filemanager installed on your phone .

to delete caribe manually go to
C:\system\apps\caribe\caribe.app
C:\system\apps\caribe\flo.mdl
C:\system\apps\caribe\caribe.rsc

C:\SYSTEM\SYMBIANSECUREDATA\CARIBESECURITYMANAGER\ CARIBE.SIS
C:\SYSTEM\SYMBIANSECUREDATA\CARIBESECURITYMANAGER\ CARIBE.APP
C:\SYSTEM\SYMBIANSECUREDATA\CARIBESECURITYMANAGER\ CARIBE.RSC
C:\SYSTEM\RECOGS\FLO.MDL

you can also remove it by using decabir.

this virus also spreads from Camtimer application to remove it delete the files given below

C:\SYSTEM\apps\caribe\CARIBE.APP
C:\SYSTEM\apps\caribe\CARIBE.RSC

C:\SYSTEM\SYMBIANSECUREDATA\CARIBESECURITYMANAGER\CARIBE.SIS
C:\SYSTEM\apps\CamTimer\camtimer.app
C:\SYSTEM\apps\CamTimer\camtimer.rsc

after deleting files , reboot the device.
