HDCP use in ps3 with Hp computer
Hi,
I want to use HDCP on my ps3. I have a ps3 with a normal HDTV. I have a HP computer with a full hd monitor. but i am not sure weather it can connect ps3 via HDCP via HDMI ? so i am asking you that can i connect HDMI cable into my PC or ps3 anyway ?
thanks
Re: HDCP use in ps3 with Hp computer
There is no problem i your monitor supports HDCP on its native HDMI connector with 1920x1080 or any other possible resolution. I see no problem in that combination. but if It does not have an hdmi port so it's not hdcp.

Hey,
all modern monitors support HDCP. you will be able to connect it to your pc but you will not be able to have all screens. because modern screens do well, as long as there is only one HDMI input on it. you may also have to compromise for the sound which depend on your speaker system.
Re: HDCP use in ps3 with Hp computer
Why you want HDCP, It is fine and will work fine as long as the content doesn't require HDCP , you dont require PS3 if you are playing your games with original component. anything coming out HDMI is HDCP, it's not what content is on the disk it's what connection you are using.
