Norton 360 V3 doesn't get Install on Windows Vista

I'm running Windows Vista as my operating system. the problem is that i'm trying to install Norton 360 V3 on my system. But it doesn't get install on my pc, it shows me the following error message on my screen:

" The install file can not be properly validated. Please try again and if you continue to recieve this error message, then you should run a Windows Update and then try again"

Can any body tell me that why i'm unable to install Norton 360 on my pc? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.

Have you turned off your tamper protection on your system while installing Norton 360 on your pc? If it not turn off then try to install it in a safe mode.

Follow the below steps mention in order to install Norton 360 V3 on your system.

Activate Norton 360


1) Make sure that your computer is connected to Internet.

2) Then, Start Norton 360.

3) Then, Click on My Account.

4) Then Click on Activate Norton 360.

5) It will prompt you for the 25-character product key.

Notes :-

• The product key can be found on a yellow sticker on the back of the CD envelope or in the confirmation email of your download purchase.
• If your product came with your computer you may not have to enter the product key. You can skip this step.

6)Then Click on Next.

7) Follow the prompts to create a Norton Account and register Norton 360.

8) Click on Finish. Your copy of Norton 360 is now activated on your pc.
