Recover online form data in Firefox
Many times it happens with many of us like finally finished filling out a long form, and hit submit and we a connection lost error or any kind of error. And then we click back to the form we find the form is blank. The Lazarus Form Recovery add-on is out to keep that from ever happening. Each time you fill out a web page form, the Form Recovery extension auto-saves the information and makes recovering or re-entering it a one-click deal.
Lazarus securely auto-saves all forms as you type, so after a crash, server timeout, or whatever, you can go back to the form, right click, select "recover form", and breath a sigh of relief. The saved forms are encrypted and kept in your profile folder so you can recover forms from a browser crash or even after rebooting your pc. If other people use your machine, you can set a master password for Firefox to make the data secret. Also, the data is encrypted as an additional security measure.
Lazarus automagically encrypts and saves every form as you type. If the submission fails or if you forget to send it or your computer or browser crashes, then you can return to the page and recover the form data you originally entered. It works on web forms, WYSIWYG editors and AJAXified forms and will save you from almost any given server, browser, or connection problems that might otherwise cause you to lose your work.
Lazarus also includes search functionality so you can recover text even if you can no longer find the original form you entered it into.Firefox has gotten a lot better about re-filling in form data after a crash or accidental page departure, but Lazarus offers extra insurance. Lazarus is a free download which works with Firefox.

Re: Recover online form data in Firefox
Lazarus securely saves forms as you type, allowing you to safely recover your lost work after server timeouts, network issues, browser crashes, power failures, and all the other things that can go wrong while you're entering forms, editing content, writing webmail, etc.. That’s means that every reply, message, and mail you have ever typed is stored by Lazarus and can be recovered at any time you want.
Lazarus is a simple, secure, reliable and free add-on for Firefox, produced by the Interclue team. You can set a time limit on the saved data - default is 30 minutes, but we have found 10 minutes to be adequate.
Re: Recover online form data in Firefox
In most cases all you need to do is click back and re-enter information, it's not necessary to keep your data for long.
Features:
- Saves contents of textareas and WYSIWYG editors.
- New Search Capability allows recovery of text data even if original form is no longer accessable.
- New Hybrid Encryption! Using 2048 bit RSA and 256 bit AES encryption to secure your data.
- Password no longer needed for saving forms (only required when recovering forms).
