Motherboard doesn't recognize video card
Recently i had purchased a new system. The problem is that my motherboard is unable to recognize my system graphics card. I'm not getting any video signal on the monitor, when i try to plug it directly to the card. Can any body tell me that why i'm having such problem on my new system? Why i'm unable to get any video signal on my monitor? Can any body help me out to get rid of the above issue? Any kind of help on the above issue would be appreciated.
Following are the specification which i have on my new system.
- Motherboard: ASUS PTGD1-LA
- Video Card: ASUS EN9800GT 512MB
Re: Motherboard doesn't recognize video card
I think you need to disable your onboard video card. It may be that your onboard video card is not allowing you to add on another new card on your system.

Make sure you have the jumpers set correctly for master/slave or cable select settings. Try to use the drive overlay program that usually comes with the drive at the time of purchase.
Re: Motherboard doesn't recognize video card
Go to your Control Panel-->System-->Hardware-->Device Manager and then right click on the drivers and unistall it and then again reinstall it on your system. Hope so it may help you to resolve your problem.
