Creating Home Folders

I want to modify existing user accounts to use a home folder, which they didnt have when first made. I understand that if I manualy add the Home drive and Home folder then the home folder is created for me. But if I am trying to do the same with DSMOD, then the account is modified, but no Home Folder is created. Is there any other command line tools to do this so that I can batch a bunch of user modifications. I have checked some articles that the Home Folder creation was not possible with DSMOD, so I was thinking if there could be some tools for microsoft to do this? Thanks.

I use ADUC to create them actually. There is tool called ADMODIFY that you can use and it comes free for download as well and to do this on multiple accounts, or simply highlight multiple users in ADUC and then choose the profile tab. You just need to ensure that the Users folder allows FC minimally for Authenticated Users, and specify the home folder under the Profile tab of the user accounts as the home folder under the Profile tab of the user accounts as \\servername\usersharedfoldername\%username% and then it will automatically create them giving them FC. Afterwards you can modify the permissions, if you need.

Assuming you are using a parent folder for the user accounts and the drive is NTFS. After that the share is called 'sharename' and the share permissions have minimally:
Authenticated Users Full Control
Domain Admins Full Control.

After that the NTFS permissions on the parent folder have minimally:
Authenticated Users Full Control
Domain Admins Full Control.
