Operating adobe flash player and adobe shockwave player

I download adobe flash or shockwave player, install and when I connect to you tube I am asked to install to be able to read or hear the videos. i try to download it in my pc ,, but it every time in get deleted or uninstall

I must say I do not have Adobe Reader or Acrobat on my pc is there a causal ?

if Vista, 32 or 64 bits? What Browser?
go to C: \ WINDOWS \ SYSTEM32 \ Macromed \ Flash
run FlashUtil10b.exe
right click and then click Run as Administrator on Vista, double click on XP
and install the update

download the uninstaller

Uninstall FlashPlayer

- Close (s) browser (s)
- Double-clicking on the uninstaller
- Check that the Flash file is empty

Install FlashPlayer

- Close (s) browser (s)
- Double-click the executable, which will in the Flash:

- Double-click on NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe

- Follow the instructions
- A window of the installation progress is displayed

Same issue. You can try the solutions above but I highly doubt they will be effective. The issue is your antivirus program. What ultimately worked for me was uninstalling my Norton Internet Security program.
