Nero burns blank, but still consumes disk space
I burned a CD with a data of around 700MB (less than that) so the disk completely filled but after burning the disk, there is no data shown on the disk. I though there might have been problem with the recorder and so tried to burn the same project on the same disk again. But Nero tells that the disk is completely filled and is not blank. Even in the properties of the disk, it is showing almost 700MB disk space used with 0MB space available. But there is not data inside! This also happened with the second disk...
What can be this problem? Problem with Nero or with that disks?
Re: Nero burns blank, but still consumes disk space
Test with a rewritable CD burning the same data. If its not appearing there, then erase the data and write again. Do this for 2-3 times and see if you can get the data on CD. If not, then there sure is the problem with the software or maybe the recorder.
Re: Nero burns blank, but still consumes disk space
Have you tried burning with some other writing software? Use something else, like InfraRecorder is great and does what it should do over Nero and without paying a heavy.
Re: Nero burns blank, but still consumes disk space
With the data do you mean that it is CD audio? Some ancient recorders have problem reading these CD. I had this problem once.
Also make 1 thing sure that you have closed the nero before reading the disk in the cdrom. Sometimes the data shows blank when nero is still running but it may appear after nero is completely closed and CD viewed again.
