I am having Acer laptop and it's getting freezed many a times so i have decided to update BIOS for my Acer laptop when i am trying to do so i am getting an message as services.exe unexpectedly terminated and my laptop gets restarted and after restart i am getting (Long-Short-Long-Short) beeps.Can anyone help me out with this issue.
I guess in your case you have not follow few precautions like connect your laptop to the AC adapter, do not run the upgrade on the battery power.If you have followed this precaution then everything should work properly.
I have followed the precaution but by mistake i have run the BIOS update on Battery Power. Can you tell me what i need to do in this case.I am really got frustrated.
Try to follow the below steps:-
- Turned off the computer
- Removed Battery and disconnected power cord.
- Waited, for few minutes and plugged the power cord back in and don't reinsert the battery.
- Now hold down the Insert button and held the power button down for 20-30 seconds and released the power button and Windows got booted.
If this doesn't work for you then finally you need to go the manufacturer for solving this problem and they might change the motherboard for the same too.
