I have recently Downloading the latest version of VNC and had installed VNC at my Office PC but when i am trying to connect my Office PC i am not able to get connected to it , whenever i try to get connect i am getting a message as Failed to connect to server. Can anyone help me out with this message.
If you are having Windows as your Operating system then have a check does your Firewall is not blocking it, it might happen that because of this you are getting the message as Failed to connect to server and if your are having Linux then check your iptables.
I had a check for the same my Firewall is not blocking it.Early i was not able to get this message i am getting this message from when i have downloaded the new version of VNC.
Did you enable your port forwarding in your router setting have a check,because of this you would be getting this message.Port forwarding allows you to pass external connections to computers in the internal network.By default port 5900 is being used for the VNC client, and port 5800 for the java.
