Network discovery turns off after reboot (sometimes).
I have three pcs at my home connected with a Belkin wireless router using with ADSL modem. Two PCs out of these are running with Windows Vista once of which is the main PC on which I work. I also have a secondary PC connected to the wireless network via my main PC. On my 32bit Vista desktop, set up is in this way:
Wireless Network Connection - static IP (10.21.119.101 / 255.255.255.0)
Local Area Connection - static IP (10.21.119.102 / 255.255.255.0)
The problem am facing is one system (Vista 64 bit) keeps turning off network discovery time to time automatically. I don’t know why. So far have tried various things but nothing worked to get it fixed. Do you guys have any idea regarding the same? Please help.
Re: Network discovery turns off after reboot (sometimes).
By reading your issue, according to me the problem might be with your connection or else with your registry files. I would suggest you to make sure that all the connections are proper and is not loose. Loose connection is getting disconnected and that is why your services are getting deactivated. Also i would ask you to check whether your registry is working fine or not. You should use some third party software to check, clear and optimize your registry files. This will help you increasing the performance of your system as well.
