Hi guys,
I have an Acer 9810. It has come with windows vista and I want to format the my hard disk and remove vista and install windows XP. i need your help regarding the installation and the xp compatible drivers for my Acer 9810.

Hi from here you can download the xp and vista compatible drivers for your acer aspire 9810 http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/. select your device and download the all drivers. there is no need to remove the windows vista you can possibly dual boot.
Here is how you can install windows xp on acer aspire 9810 laptop.Quote:

- Make eRecovery and dvd backups
- download the drivers on the acer site http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
- download bios and xp ver 1.21.xp from the same link
- flash the bios under vista
- put on a disk (floppy drive external usb) pilots RAID (decompresses)
- Set the bios to boot on the CD player
- connect the external floppy drive usb
- Installing win xp (F6) to install the drivers raid storage
- let the floppy drive until the installation
- install the drivers

i cant flash bios under vista a nice message appears:
"can not flash if memory managers (eg EMM386) present"
"can not flash if memory managers (eg HYMEM) present"
you have a solution for that ?
