Boost your Cell-Phone Signal in low signal Zone

Hey Guys!
I want to share something with you guys here! In india it is common to loose signal when you are at malls, at your house and say basements and offices. People say this room will have low signal due to Air-Conditions! Well the fact is its not the ACs. But its due to totally packed rooms that AC needs! Well in such cases you will really have low signal on your phone. What if your expecting an important call...!? What if you cannot do anything about it but just to blam yourself being at that place!? Well there are a lot of ways to boost your mobile phone signals.

Internal Signal boosters are a small device which are of the size larger than a sim card that have to be pasted below the battery. Not much effective but costly. There are same cheap boosters with no improvement at all.

External antennas are the antennas that can be attached to the cell phone which will obviously spoil the looks of your device. These antennas can be attached to almost every phones, but now a days this option is gone. In older phones, there would be a rubber cover which would look like a push button. This covers the connections for external antenna. You can connect a 20cm insulated copper wire by just twisting it so that is appears as a coil with each winding at a maximum distance of 2-3mm. Well this would look to stupid!

Home made antennas are the one that we make it at home or by ourselves. When at home and office and our phone is on the desk or table we might get text messages and calls too. To get our phones a better signal we could make a stand + signal booster. We will need a tin/can [ soft drink or beer]. Keep the stand as it is and cut the half of the tins surface. it should look like this :

The base of the tin is curvy and the phone won't stand on it so on the front make it curvy from the opposite side so that it could hold the phone. It will look like this :

Now when the phone is stationed you would get a better reception then before. This will make your phone to recieve enough signal to get a message or to atleast get a buzz. This will help you to atleast get the number of those trying to contact you...! All the best!
