Sony launches DAV-DZ290 DVD home theater system

Sony has launched DAV-DZ290 DVD home theater system with the new USB Movie Playback feature. With this system, users can enjoy MP3, JPEG, DivX content directly via a USB drive.

DAV-DZ290 comes with high definition 1080p resolution through its HDMI connection. The HDMI input claims to simplify the connection to the LCD TV whereas the DTH connection is said to provide enhanced audio quality and surround sound.

it comes with the additional features like Portable audio enhancer, 850W RMS (142Wx5+140W), increased diameter of the 18cm subwoofer and Dolby and DTS surround processing modes

While connectivity to the LCD TV is made with the HDMI input; the audio input in the DAV-DZ290 enable surround sound when connected to the DTH.

The Sony DAV-DZ290 home theater system will be available at select Sony authorized dealers, as well as national retail partners across the country at Rs. 16,990.
