No video, but system boots up
I meant to shut down one day but accidently closed the lid on my laptop and it went into stand by mode. I opened it up and hit the power button until it shuts off. Now when i try to turn it back on, i get nothing on the screen. I can hear Windows loading up fine. Hooked it up to an external and still nothing on the screen.
Specs.
Quantum laptop
Intel P7100
1GB ram
8600 GT Video
60GB hard drive
running Windows XP Pro SP3
Weirdest thing i've ever encountered.

Hey!
Power On your computer and keep tapping "Del" "F2" "F8" or whichever key that lets you go into BIOS setup mode. Can you enter into BIOS is there a display? you don't see video from the start or after entering into Windows?

Re: Rudra
I assume that i am in BIOS because when i hit F2 i don't hear Windows loading up, but it's still a blank screen. I don't see anything on the screen right from the start.

None of those apply to me.
