I have recently installed windows 7 RC(7100 built) & got a problem with the sound device or driver. It is not responding to the command given by the computer like i have installed the drivers & trying to play music file it is working but giving the out put.
Please Help....!
There Might be a driver problem with your sound card. Try to download the latest drivers compatible for Windows 7 & reinstall Or update your Drivers.

Get me your audio device PnP ID and I'll find you a driver. Open Start, type devmgmt.msc, expand the device tree to expose your audio device and double click it. Select the details tab and then Hardware Ids from the drop-down list. Copy each and paste them into a reply to this post.
I tried and it failed, this is what I got:
" Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. High definition audio device this device cannot start(code 10)"
Try to change the compatibility mode of windows 7!
OR
Download latest Drivers compatible to win 7.
So I installed Vista Drivers in the compatibility mode and all is fine now.
Speakers now working properly, thanks it help me...!
