Power setup keeps on changing in Windows Vista
Hey Guys,
I had installed Windows Vista on my system. From last few days my power settings keep on changing automatically.:crybaby: I haven't set any password on resume option on my pc, but after turning off the system for an hours time, when i switch on the system, everything works fine on the system. I don't understand what's wrong with my system. Can any body tell me that why i'm having such strange problem on my pc? Does any body knows about this issue? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue. Any kind of help on the above issue would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Even i used to face the same problem on my pc. I had set the monitor to 1 hour and even saved the setting on my pc. But i after some time it had revert back to the default settings, which i had kept to 25 minutes.
Re: Power setup keeps on changing in Windows Vista
Check out your Windows Vista power settings, by going to your Control Panel and check out your computer's proprietary video setup. For example my Compaq laptop has an Intel GMA Moblie driver that is actually driving the power setup for my video. You having such problem on your system because the Windows Vista will default to whatever your proprietary video settings in been configured on your system. They never get locked until you change their proprietary settings too on your system.
