Re: Change Default Folder For Saving Photos
Hello , Yup it is True That By default, Windows stored your images in the My Pictures folder which is located in My Documents. To use a different location and ensure that the links point to My Pictures folder to the right, you must specify in the registry.
- Click Start then Run.
- In the Open field, type the command regedit and press Enter.
- In the window of Registry Editor opens, pull down the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Explorer, Shell Folders.
- Double click on My Pictures the key.
- Enter the path to your My Pictures folder, C: \ Photos by example. Validate by OK.
- Close Registry Editor and restart your computer to apply the change.
