Cannot Install HP PSC 1315 Printer

Hello,

My Pc Was Having Lots of problem , So i Finally Installed a new Windows Xp,I left the Pc to updates it Self automatically Until the installation of XP SP3. after that I wanted to install my HP PSC 1315. but the installation Failed many Time the error message is as below this is the error Message
unable to open the installation package. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor
to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package. please help me Solve this Thanks in advance Thanks in Advance

Hello , You Can download the latest version of windows installer or You Can aslo reinstalled the windows it may be a faster solution

Hello , Sounds like a file permission problem. Remember msiexec may run with
different credentials than the file owner. This installation package cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service. You must install a Windows service pack that contains a newer version of the Windows Installer service.
