Enemy Territory Quake Wars: segmentation error
I have a recent problem with Enemy Territory: after a few minutes of play, it crashes with a segmentation fault. Mouse freeze, but the keyboard remains active.
My config: Athlon 2800 + with a GeForce 7600 GS card.
Yet I played for a month without any problem, and it seems that the game crashes since my last update. I think beautiful, I have made no other change, and the last update coincides with an update of the nvidia drivers is the track that seems most likely.
I would like to update n-1 to test but I can not, even with the plugins allow-downgrade remains complicated.
Any help is welcome!

Before attempting to downgrade watch your launcher.
See also if you have not upgraded your kmod-nvidia and if it does not overwrite your old xorg.conf.

I launch the game in a terminal with the command
Code:
/ usr / local / games / etqw / etqw
The game crashes and I get the message
In fact during my last update, there was an update of the nvidia driver, but also libX11 ... I do not know if this is important?
, when the game crashes, I get sometimes (but not systematically) the following message in / var / log / message:
Code:
NVRM: xid (0001:00): 13, 0002 beef3097 00004097 0000036c 0000000e 00040000
I also uninstall the nvidia drivers (yum remove * nvidia *) and installed the proprietary drivers downloaded from nvidia site:

I finally found a solution, then others who have had the same problem as me on the official forum of the game .
Here are the link to a topic that talks about this bug.
