Corrupt spreadsheet in excel

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my Excel yesterday i have created an excel file which consist of some important contact number of my Clients.But today when i am trying to open Excel file to make calls to my clients i am getting an message which says your file has being corrupted.I has also try to open the same file on another PC but still getting same message. Can any one help me out with this it's very important for me to get that file.

I was also facing such kind of issue i try to follow the below steps:-

1. First you need to open a non-corrupted workbook and a new workbook.
   
2. Now from the new workbook select Insert menu option ,then choose Hyperlink and create a link to the non-corrupted workbook and close the non-corrupted file.
   
3. The link in cell A1 displays the path to the non-corrupted file. Over here edit the formula in cell A1 by corrupted filename for the existing one.

I try to do the above things but it still showing me file has being Corrupted.Can any one provide me any software or any method from which i get my get my Excel file back.

Try to open the file with Excel 2002 (XP) which is good for opening files that gives messages as corrupted.You can do it by recovery of the data but not the formulas by opening a new workbook and trying to access cell by cell using ='C:\My Documents\Excel\[Lost File Name.xls]Sheet'1!A1 and copy down to Sheet2.
