Overclock Core 2 duo E4400
hi,
i Wanted to know how to increase voltage of my Intel Core 2 Duo E4400.i currently overclocked my E4400 cpu from 2.0ghz to 2.6ghz.but i have no idea about how to increase voltage,i don't know if it has something to do with the ram.Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

you can see the North Bridge voltage adjust the FSB voltage, PLL and GTL Reference?yourmemory is running at 200 FSB to 200 (400 Mhz running)and from BIOS you can adjust the voltages.

The E4400 is a fantastic Core 2 Duo processor for overclocking as it is essentially an E6700 with just 2MB of L2 cache on an 800MHz FSB. Given both processors share the same clock multiplier, all it takes is for the user to adjust the FSB from 800MHz to 1066MHz.
That means processor should not have problem while overclock up to 3.0gHz or even higher.

hi,
If your FSB clock is at 400 and your multiplier is at 8, you get:FSB 400 * Multi 8 = 3.2 GHZ CPU clock.you need to change your core voltage to make your system stable even if your increase FSB,Most motherboard let you do this through the BIOS so it's all pretty simple for normal overclocking.
