I have a file which is in AAC format. Now pretty obvious that I want to convert this file to AC3 file format for multiplexing it so to burn onto the DVD. How can I do this. Please help.

You can convert files with aac audio to ac3 with winff. Also you can use aacDECdrop.exe to convert aac to wav and then convert the wav to ac3 with aften or ffmpeg.

The AC3 DirectShow Decoder with the AC# filter will allow Music Converter to read/decode/convert AC3 files but it is not able to rip or convert files to AC3.
