I am new to windows 7. I need to increase the text size in my system permanently. Temporarily i use Magnifier to see something in bigger size, but its time waste of doing again and again. Is there any way to increase the text size permanently ?

You can increase the text size up to 150% in windows and its quite easy, just try this:-
1. Go to Start , type font in the search line and Make text and other screen items larger or smaller.
2. When the Display screen comes up, choose a new font size according to your choice and click Apply.
3. Now you will be prompted to Log off to effect the changes.
Thats it.. You can now see the text in increased size. But remember to set the resolution accordingly to fit the windows.
You can do it simply by going to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display and set the magnification. You can set text and other items to 150% of normal size. This option appears only if your monitor supports a resolution of at least 1200 x 900 pixels.
