How to find the mac address of a computer

How to find mac address of my computer. Can anyone tell me?

Media Access Control address (MAC address), Ethernet Hardware Address (EHA), hardware address, adapter address or physical address is a unique identifier assigned to most network adapters or network interface cards (NICs) by the manufacturer for identification.

Most versions of Windows allow you to view detailed network configuration information with the ipconfig utility. This utility will show your IP address, MAC address, and DNS servers in addition to other information. To use the ipconfig utility, go to the Start button. Select Run. Enter command into the Open box and click OK. This will open the Command Prompt window. Enter ipconfig and press Enter. By using the ipconfig /all command, you can find out even more information about your configuration. If you have multiple modems or network cards installed, you will see information for each one.

IF you are using windows Vista, try following steps:

• Click the Start icon
• Then click All Programs
• Click on Accessories
• Click Command Prompt
• At the prompt type ipconfig /all

The MAC address will be referred to as the Physical Address and is made up of 12 characters. You will have a separate MAC address for your wireless card and your Ethernet card. The host name is your computer's name
