My computer does not recognize iPod
Hello!
Particularly, I wanted my iPod on PC, as always ...
Normally it works, then yes while connecting to the USB hub and iTunes will open, while the iPod is synchronized
now iPod but neither PC nor anything ...
Although the iPod is addressed, as always, but has not opened iTunes. I'm not able to restore the iPod because the computer doesn't recognize it at all, so when I bring up the Itunes, it just tells me it's waiting for me to plug in an iPod.
Now my question .. what is going on?
Re: My computer does not recognize iPod
Hi,
Have you tried to attach ipod to different computer ? If not then try it. If ipod still not mounting then remove all other usb device attach with computer and only attach ipod it may possible that ipod conflict with other usb devices. Then Try to change the cable that you are using to mount ipod on computer. If still ipod not mount on computer that mean problem must be with ipod. Now check hold switch is on or off. Make sure it is off. Check battery is charged or not. Try to dry the battery and then charge again and then mount ipod. Try to update firmware of you ipod from apple web site. Also try to reset you ipod or the one and only last solution restore your ipod.
Re: My computer does not recognize iPod
Hi,
The best thing you can do is, to reinstall the software (iTunes). The iTunes/iPod package has a bunch of different parts and anyone of them may have gotten corrupted or messed up. Having a fresh install could solve your problems.
Re: My computer does not recognize iPod
Hi,
You can do is, reset the iPod, reformat iPod, etc.. I try switching cables and using different USB ports. I disable the firewall, which might be blocking. And also check whether other external devices work fine in usb.
