I have problem on windows 98 start up. Whenever i start my computer, i get the error: "Msvcrt.dll not found" and "error loading Explorer.exe" Can anyone help me to solve this problem.

Try this:
- Restart your PC on Safe mode Command Prompt Only by pressing F8 on start up
- At the C:\ prompt, type CD \Windows\System
- Press Enter
- At the C:\Windows\System> prompt, type ren msvcrt.dll msvcrt.old
- Press Enter
- Turn off the computer by pressing in the Power button for about five seconds
- Restart the computer normally
Download the DLL file here. And install it in C:\windows\system
Follow this steps to solve the issue:
- Restart the computer with the Windows 98 Startup disk
- At the Startup, type 1, and then press Enter
- Record the drive letter assigned to the CD or DVD-ROM drive
- Type ext, and then press Enter to start the Microsoft Extract Command Line Helper
- At the Please enter the path to the Windows CAB files ( a: ): prompt, type drive (letter):\win98
- Then press Enter
- At the Please enter the name(s) of the file(s) you want to extract: prompt, type msvcrt.dll, and then press Enter
- At the Please enter the path to extract to : prompt, type c:\windows\system, and then press Enter
- Remove the Windows 98 Startup disk
- And reboot the system
