Hi,
To use aircel pocket internet (free) on your multimedia mobile just send an sms to "121" as "PI" without quotes. You will get the settings delivered to your cellphone. Next you have to go the configuration menu in your cell. You have to select the default config as Aircel in your cellphone and access point as Aircel Online. Then start your cellphone browser and access internet for free:thumbup1:
This method works on Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic phone :)

AIRCEL is is big flop the internet is causing problem, i tried to get the same from MArch 2010 till today i am facing the problem ...... , i called their nodal office also biut it is a waste of time and money ;..... cheap things and cheap price........ either go for DOcomo ro any other GPRS

Which phone are you using? You need to check whether the phone that you are actually using is not a clone so first check it out with the distributor from where you got the phone purchased. This might be causing the trouble. Also have you installed the modem driver of your phone on your laptop?Quote:

It seems to be a problem from the network provider and not from the mobile, so did you ask for any other settings from their support or try googling for aircel gprs settings and you will come accross a number of site that will give you different gprs settings. You can also check whether the Access Point is correct or not:
click on start button
go to control panel
select Phone and MOdem Options
initailize it as first time by entring any no in area code
after some time phone and modem options appears
click on Modem tAB..
choose ur dial up modem..
click on properties
click on advance tAb
write a line in Extra initialization command
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","aircelgprs.com"

All such tricks are just fake. There is no way you can get a free GPRS service from any of the mobile operator in entire country. Ask the one who posts just tricks, whether they have not been charged for the same ?:bleh:Quote:
