I have wireless internet connection. But when i try to connect any website. It shows me error: "Internet explorer cannot find server" Can anyone help me?

First check following:
- As you are using wireless, check the router to ensure MAC address controls are either disabled or properly configured to allow access.
- Make sure your Internet connection is working. Use another computer to confirm.
- Ask your service provider, if something is wrong with their end.
Check the DNS server IP entries in your TCP/IP properties and make sure the IPs are present and correct. Follow this:
- Right click on My Network Places
- Again right click on Local Area Connection
- In General Tab, click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
- Then click Properties
- Click Obtain IP automatically and DNS server automatically
- Click Ok
Close everything and try to connect to internet again.
It might be a virus infection. Updating your antivirus and running virus scan may help to solve this. Or you can go through this Microsoft article: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;318378
Go to internet options and check that the 'automatically detect settings' box is ticked. It sounds like windows has a problem detecting your internet settings.
