Re: Asus P5QL Pro bootup failure
hi,
it could be a number of things a dirty fan or dirty heatsink or the fan isn't working correctly. To test the fan, disconnect the yellow and use a DMM to see if you are recieving a voltage.or there are chances that your motherboard is short circuiting. Unmount it and be careful when putting it back in the case.
Re: Asus P5QL Pro bootup failure
cpu overvolt error means your pushing too much voltage to something... Have you overclocked the system? If so, reset the CMOS by popping the battery out for about 20 minute. Then putting it back in.
Re: Asus P5QL Pro bootup failure
did you try resetting the bios? they may have used a different CPU to test that the board works.there is a jumper on motherboard to change voltage or contact asus website about the board. are all those pin straight in the cpu holder on there motherboard?
