Raw files to NTFS

I have a old IDE Hard drive and I need data out of it?
I have documents that are important in this hard drive and I am having problems getting them out.

I bought Ontrack Data Recovery and It worked out well for my first harddrive:
I can't seem to get the data off of this the second hard drive. When I went into NTFS and tried to recover data it failed. I am using raw file system to get this data out. How do I convert RAW to NTFS.

Here are two things I was thing of

One: Finish and then do a data recovery on my good hard drive where those raw files are on.

Two: Do a XP repair on the good hard drive.

Does your old hard drive gets connected to your computer? Do you hear any clicking noise when you connect your hard drive? What happens if you leave it in Fat32 format and try to recover data?

I found the fix? After I scan with ONtrack Data Recovery. I scaned it in a Raw file. The good volume that I have and placed these RAW files on it i scan with Ontrack again but in NTFS and It worked out great?
