Problem with DesktopX in Vista 64-bit

Hey Guys,

I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit as my operating system. The problem is that Desktop X has stopped working on my pc. It was working fine previously, so in order to get back working on my pc i had uninstalled and then reinstalled my Windows. But it is not still working and is not showing me any kind of error on the screen. Can any body tell me that why i'm having such problem on my pc? Can any body help me out to get rid of the above problem? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

An interim fix please replace DAxHost.dll in Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\SDPlugins with the version in this file. Do this before launching DesktopX after update.

You can try out by using some cleaning tools such as Ccleaner which will help you to clean out the unwanted stuffs from your system. It may be that some virus problem which may not allow the program to run smoothly on your system.

Using L-click to show the pop up object works, it shows up above other windows. I'm guessing that's because you are actually setting z-order when you click on it. However, when it's set to show up on timer, it doesn't show up over other Windows.
