Hi,
My Dell Dimension E310 does not have a wireless card so I installed a WUSB54G linksys wireless USB adapter. However not only does my computer not recognize the adapter it will not let me uninstall it?
Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this...
Have you installed the driver for your wireless USB adapter? Go to its manufacturer site and download the drivers for it.

Well try this out :
I assume you have Windows Vista loaded. Once you have the driver for it, plug in the USB adapter and install the drivers... If there is trouble installing the drivers let windows search and update it from the internet...! If still nothing helps go to the manufacturer's website and get appropriate drivers. If your computer doen't recognise the device, make sure that the USB is not disabled from BIOS. To verify it plug any other USB device in. If other device works, your device is faulty, get it replaced..! All the best...!
