Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
Hey, can not answer your question because I do not know so much about PS3... But think actually saves it inside the ps because it has a huge "hard drive".... 60 GB or something.
Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
Have also heard about the two versions: 20 GB and 60 GB.
I also believe that it will be used partly to save game data and to download games directly to your hard disk, but I just need confirmation on my questions.

When I searched on google it came here, just can not find it in the text:
The PlayStation 3 Memory Card Adapter is a device that allows data to be transferred from the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 memory cards to the PlayStation 3's.
Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
Okay. So let me ask again:
Can it be done to save a PS2 game data on a PS3 without using a PS2 memory card and an adapter to transfer it?
Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
Yes it has a hard drive in it, but if you believe that you must transfer its gaming data from a PS2 to PS3, then one has to only use its memory card and upload it there.
Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
That I think is that if you played a Ps2 games on a Ps3 (without memory card) you should also to store, it would then save to your hard disk since there is no memory card to store it?
Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
Yes it would. It would save the hard disk.
Re: PS2 games to save in PS3
Excellent.
I have received answers to all my questions.
Thank you very much.
