Acer Veriton screen resolution problem
Hey Guys,
I'm having Acer Veriton laptop with Windows Vista running as my operating system. The problem is that the resolution optimum is up to 1366 X 860 and i only get resolution up to 1280 x 1024 on my laptop. Can any body tell me that how do i get the complete resolution on my laptop? Does any body knows about this issue? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above problem. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Acer Veriton screen resolution problem
First of all i would like to tell you that no 1366X860 resolution exist. I think you should read the manual properly on your screen. I think it should be 1366X768. Then i think any operating system should support this resolution. You must install the drivers of the graphics card that is inside your PC from the manufacturer website.
Re: Acer Veriton screen resolution problem
Go to the manufacturers website for your graphic card and get the latest driver, you will probably find you can get upto 1440x900 on most reasonably new cards,if its stretching the images that is down to the 1140 you are setting it to, its stretching an 1140 picture into a 1440 screen, mine was like that, the updated graphic card driver will resolve your problem.
