How to Install an update to Windows Vista ?

1. Insert the Windows Vista DVD into your drive and then start your computer.
   
2. Setup of Windows Vista is launched. If this is not the case, check
3. BIOS Boot you well on your DVD player.
   
4. Click the Install button.
   
5. Windows will ask you to enter your product key. Do nothing and click Next.
   
6. Confirm the empty product key by clicking the No button in the window that opens.
   
7. Continue the installation of Windows Vista by choosing the version of Vista that you purchased.
   
8. This will be installed in trial version 30 days.
   
   
9. Remove your DVD drive and then start your computer. You find yourself running Windows Vista.
   
10. Then insert your Windows Vista DVD. Setup of Windows Vista is launched, this time from your evaluation version you just installed.
    
11. Click the Install button.
    
12. Choose the setup type Custom (advanced) and continue installing Windows Vista.
    
13. When you're finished, your complete Windows Vista is ready. You simply just turn and remove the folder C: \ Windows.OLD created during installation and which is now useless.

If you want to install an updated version of Windows Vista on your computer, you must have Windows 2000 or XP installed. But it is still possible to work around this and install an updated version of Windows Vista as complete set up on a machine with no operating system. Otherwise have a clean install from an update to Windows Vista.
