hello, i Have a Dell Vostro system , The Problem is the Bios of my dell Vostro is restricted and i dont Have Access to it , Actually i Want to Overclock it , Currently my Dell Vostro had 2 Gb Ram , and i Want to Change it To 4 gb but i Cant seem To Do It , Can You tell me How Can i Unlock my dell Vostro Bios , so that I Can Overclock it , thanks in Advance For Your Replies
Hello , i Use Dells Everyday, and there is no hidden special features... the bios are locked for a reason, so people don't oc to a stupid level and then request a new computer when it fries maybe You can Try Changing Your motherboard it will then solve your problem .
No, I don't think there is any way to unlock a Dell. I had an 8400 that I wanted to OC but I searched for a few months and tried all sorts of software programs to OC, but nothing work work because it was a propritory mobo. I got rid of the dell and built my current rig which I can OC... but I may have pushed it a lil too far last night
